NEW LONDON, N.H. - Novermber 13, 2013 - Springfield College (25-5 overall, 24-2 New England) earns the #1 rank in the final NEWVA poll of 2013.

#1 Pride earned their third New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conferece (NEWMAC) title in the past six years with a thrilling five-set win over #4 Wellesley College. Springfield earns the #2 seed in the New England Region and will face Baruch College in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

#2 Roger Williams University (30-3 overall, 26-3 New England) earned their fifth straight Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) title with a 3-0 sweep of #13 Endicott College. The Hawks earned the #1 seed in the New England Region and will face St. Joseph's College (L.I.) in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

#3 Williams College (25-4 overall, 17-3 New England) earned its first New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) title since 2009 with a 3-0 sweep of #5 Bowdoin College. The Ephs, who are the hsot institution for the New England Region, earned the #3 seed in the New England Region and will face Southern Vermont College in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

#4 Wellesley College (28-6 overall, 23-5 New England) earned a second place finish in the NEWMAC after falling in 5-sets to #1 Springfield College. The Blue earned the #4 seed in the New England Region and will face the University of Massachusetts Boston in the first round of the NCAA tournament.

#5 Bowdoin College (23-7 overall, 21-6 New England) earned a second place finish in the NESCAC after falling to #3 Williams College.
