BEVERLY, Mass. - November 8, 2022 - The New England Women's Volleyball Coaches Association (NEWVA) has released its 2022 NEWVA Annual Awards honoring the region's Player of the Year, Rookie of the Year, and the All-New England Teams. Earning Co-Player of the Year honors were Consecreta Rozario of MIT, and Amanda Gilbert of Endicott, while Abby Hunt of Smith was named NEWVA Rookie of the Year.

The Cardinals, who took their first NESCAC loss last week, sit at No. 12 in last week's AVCA Coaches Poll, and remain ahead of No. 24 Tufts, Endicott, No. 22 Babson and No. 21. MIT.

Currently ranked No. 17 in the most recent AVCA DIII Coaches Poll, Wesleyan remains undefeated on the season, having improved to 7-0 with a 3-0 week since the last poll.
